The funds will be placed in the Melanoma Clinic Program Fund which provides funds to support of the melanoma clinic at University of Colorado Hospital Cancer Center including: patient care, financial assistance, equipment, and program support. The area of major interest for Dr. Gonzales is the Frontiers of Melanoma Speakers series. This will help inform, educate and challenge health care providers about melanoma, research, treatments and patient care. The Melanoma Research Clinic at the University of Colorado Cancer Center is one of the largest in the nation. It is located in University of Colorado Hospital's Anschutz Cancer Pavilion, which is a purpose-designed facility staffed by medical oncologists and oncology nurses specializing in melanoma, dermatologists with particular expertise in pigmented lesions, dermatopathologists, dermatologic surgeons and surgical oncologists. We also collaborate closely with other programs and services of UCCC to offer our patients the full spectrum of cancer care and advanced treatment options that only a Comprehensive Cancer Center can provide. "How," you might ask, "can I donate right now?" First, check with your employer to see if your company will match your contributions. A quick call to your Human Resources department is usually all that it takes. Then, follow whatever rules you need to so that your gift can be doubled. In all these cases, make sure you let them know you're sponsoring Mountains For Melanoma. And e-mail me so that I can add you to the Sponsor page appropriately.
When donating, keep these donations levels in mind for our sponsorship page.
Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. If you'd like to contribute a non tax-deductible donation to help with the logistics of this endeavor, we accept PayPal donations. Any excess funds will be donated to the University of Colorado Cancer Center. - Ken and Victoria White |
